Oil on linen 70 x 50 cm 27.55 x 19.69 inches Produced in 2022 Olga Survillo was born in 1961 in Moscow. Her father Raymond was a professional artist who introduced Olga to production design. Mother Nina  who worked at the Museum of Oriental Art  took her daughter to archaeological expeditions  where they sketched discovered artefacts for print publications.  After graduating from Moscow Art School  Olga studied production and set design at VGIK Film School.  From 1985 onwards Olga Survillo worked as production designer in film industry  with over 20 projects under her belt.  In 2019 Olga established her studio in Palanga  Lithuania and focused on painting.n my paintings I aim to project on canvas tactile feelings and associations evoked by particular materials. Textures emerging from the interplay of various items interest me for their ability to convey stories about different times, places and also people that were once there.
