The vintage ink well from England is such a wonderful color of blue. Blue glass is one of my favorite vintage finds. I kept thinking "a whale" when I would look at the ink well and then I think of the long history of whales in Massachusetts. The ink well and whale brings up thoughts of whalers, ships, driftwood, Nantucket, Melville, ink & bone. Wool, wire, locally foraged driftwood and vintage inkwell from England.
