Part of Jennifer Nauck’s Encalmo series—each piece named in honor of Venetian women glassblowers—the Elena vase is a tribute to both tradition and feminine artistry. Created using the Italian Encalmo technique, two distinct layers of molten glass are fused into a single, seamless form—a delicate yet precise dance of timing and heat. The vase’s teardrop silhouette is softly flattened, its organic profile lending it a sculptural elegance. Two bands of color converge like memory and moment, creating a visual rhythm that feels both meditative and bold.
