Solstice Painting Ritual : Activating the Inner Sun

Join Melissa for a beautiful painting ritual to honor the earth's Cycles of the Wheel. The Summer Solstice is a time of embodying the light of the sun's energy! We will celebrate this energy in a guided painting ritual. We will contemplate our inner light, and will go on a journey guided by the drum to access that place of source inside of us. I will open the ritual with speaking about the energy of the Summer Solstice. I will read from my dear friend Maharlika Sage's book The Inner Sun, which I illustrated. I will then guide us on a drum journey, where we will connect with our own inner sun and collect inspiration for our paintings. We will then do a painting ritual to express and mark what was learned within. This ritual is a way for you to reclaim the ability honor the cycles of the earth with creative acts.
