At his request, AP created a custom, platinum minute repeater with his name written out on the hour markers. To pay homage to this watch, AP released a few similar cushion shaped watches in the 1990s calling them the John Shaeffer line. Very few of these pieces were produced and this example is a particularly beautiful one. This platinum minute repeater features a fantastic white dial, Breguet numerals and a clear display back showing off the repeater movement.
