Tabard of Lyon Boxwood Bent English Horn Circa 1820 HISTORIC COLLECTION

Here's a wonderful boxwood bent English Horn by Tabard of Lyon, circa 1830.  A great English horn for historical performance of early romantic music. Body is in excellent condition and without cracks. Will need pad work to be playable at a high level. Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale.  As this instrument is historically interesting, we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner.  Please feel free to email with any additional questions!
