Boeing introduced the 737 MAX 8 as the 4th generation of the Boeing 737 line of aircraft.  American has 12 in service with orders of 88 more.  Primarily based in Miami, American’s version of the B-737 MAX 8 has 172 seats in a single-aisle configuration.  Engines are CFM International Leap 1B and Scimitar/split winglet design.   Available in 1/50 scale.
