Ring Carving Workshop w. Seelye Designs(Ages 18+) Annex

Thursday, September 11th 6-8pm Instructors: Kathy & Hannah French of Seelye Designs $250/person This workshop will be held at The New Local Annex located at 713 Pearl St. A few doors west of the our main gallery location. We will lead attendees in carving a Seelye Root Stacker ring, using the art of lost wax casting. A tradition that runs deep in humanity and is relativity lost in modern day society. It is our absolute joy to share with our community an art form that we find so sacred. Once the workshop is complete, we collect the wax carvings and design notes and take them off to post-production to be edited, sized, cast in metal, and polished. Rings will be returned to the wearer in 6-8 weeks to be cherished for years to come. All levels are welcome, specifically beginners! This workshop will be filled with connection and creativity.
