This is especially true when it comes to the issue of salvation. A commonly held view is that one day you’re in, the next day you’re out, and there is no telling until the day that you die whether you’ll be in heaven or not. It is a common misunderstanding that has led to a tragically warped view of how God operates in relationship to His children.
