OverviewLichen wallpaper began as a gouache painting, which was worked into with pen to give a textural illusion and is available in two colour ways. Lichen is so often uncelebrated and unnoticed. It doesn’t have beautiful bright flowers, it isn’t glamorous, but the intricate structures and endless shades of dusty grey greens in this group of organisms are delicately beautiful and despite their apparent fragility can survive for hundreds of years. Lichen will only grow where the air is pure, so if you spot some on a gnarly tree or a hidden rock, you can be reassured that you are breathing clean air.
