‘Celebration’ is a woody tree peony with large pink flowers that bloom in late spring. The blooms are full and ruffled, with layers of soft petals that give them a luxurious, almost velvet-like appearance. The shrub itself grows to about 3–4 feet tall and wide, with strong stems and lush green leaves that hold up well through the season. The leaves stay red through bloom time. This peony is best planted in a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade, or filtered sunlight all day. It prefers well-drained soil and a little protection from strong wind, since the big blooms can be heavy.
