oh gosh, this is a favorite symbolic form, for sure, and it's a rare treat to find one with such intricate, careful details in a dainty size and in excellent condition until recently this was a hat pin that came in its original case. it seemed to have NEVER been used. so don't write me a letter about preserving antique pieces in their original form. jewelry is made to be WORN! and having a superb design sit idle for more than a century is a waste. it's been newly transformed into a pendant with a double bail and the time-earned bright gold patina has been preserved.. 14k yellow gold + either carnelian or agate M E A S U R E M E N T S  talon is ~16mm long excluding bails x ~10mm wide round bail has a ~5.5mm opening weighs 1.4g C O N D I T I O N  in excellent upcycled condition the 14k hallmark was originally on the pin portion of the stickpin, so it was lost to the conversion process time-earned bright yellow bloomed patina adding a bright hue and deep contrast to the design details ver
