this sweet lion came from a pair of victorian era cufflinks that would have been worth keeping in their original form, except that the lion faces weren't a perfect match (a variation from and one cufflink had a bit of damage. and, so, it made sense to reimagine the cufflinks into a new form that would get much more wear. the lion's head is a whimsical repousse with time-earned bloomed patina, a diamond treat in its mouth, and a green eye that's likely paste given its vibrance. the lion is mounted onto a plump, chunky vintage 14k band, which means the oval doesn't sit flush on the finger, making this a great candidate for stacking, which is a nice treat for figural ring with this much finger coverage solid 14k yellow gold M E A S U R E M E N T S just shy of size 6.75 on the mandrel, but because of the width of the band it fits more like a size 6.5 or smaller, depending on how you like your wide bands to fit band is almost a donut style and is ~5mm wide and slightly over 1mm thick set
