a pre-loved faceted flat curb chain has been dressed up with new hardware to make it a more dynamic layer in a neck mess. the original hardware on either end has been removed (and removed the 925 hallmarks in the process) and replaced with new bails and a new carabiner style clasp that can double as a charm/pendant holder. the result is a watch chain inspired style, but with modern shine. gold over sterling silver. gold plating is a lesson in non attachment and it will wear away revealing the silver beneath. re-plating is an option, but it's not possible to predict how quickly the plating will fade. solid sterling silver + gold wash M E A S U R E M E N T S 21.75" long links are ~4.75mm wide carabiner clasp measures ~16mm x ~12.25mm weighs 11.5g C O N D I T I O N  in good upcycled condition the clasp and jump rings are new and free from damage, but they may have a thinner gold plating/wash than the chain, which could mean a variance in how the plating fades over time curb links have ver
