if this skull could talk it would tell us its many tales, but alas, we're left to wonder. When it was found it was collaged as the center piece of a ring, but because it is both tall and has some weight to it, it wasn't a great ring center piece, so it has been transformed into a pendant. it feels very likely it was originally a stick pin. crafted in solid 14k yellow gold with diamonds. both diamond eyes are set in white gold, and there is an old mine cut diamond flush set in the top of the skull. this is an incredibly detailed 3D skull, which is tricky to do in such miniature form. it has a pleasant, mischievous grin and a sweet inverted heart nose. sparkles on your mind? this skull, too. it's a lovely design detail that offers visual poetry about the sparkle and magic of our mortal thoughts. the design and weighting of this piece means that when worn it has a tendency to turn its head from side to side, resting either facing sideways or outward depending on the forces of gravity work
