it's a love knot! it's a tank ring! it's a solitaire! it's an art deco inspired setting! it's an eye! it's a spectacular 1940s retro design that nods to earlier eras, while honoring the shapes of the period it was created.  solid 14k yellow gold with a white gold setting and a single natural diamond marked 585 for 14k, which hints to European origins M E A S U R E M E N T S  size 8 setting measures ~7.5mm north to south and rises 4mm off of the finger diamond measures ~2mm band is a flat, pipecut style and is just shy of 2mm wide at the base of the band weighs 2.5g C O N D I T I O N  in very good vintage condition time-earned patina in the design details, which are giving the yellow gold a wonderful brassy hue  some softening to the engraved details on the white gold setting surface scratches, dents and dings consistent with the ring's age — polishing would result in losing the time-earned patina diamond is free from damage but will show micro surface wear under magnification S H O P
