so much cross-cultural, cross-dimensional symbolism within this ouroboros snake bracelet. spirals! a snake eating its tail!  the links are woven together and all of the spiral scales are hand wrapped, creating amazing articulation, and an organic look and feel the lock mechanism has the brilliant design feature where the lock looks like the snake's tongue sterling silver M E A S U R E M E N T S  7" long head measures 15mm wide snake body made of flexible spirals measures ~12mm wide weighs 30.2g C O N D I T I O N  in good vintage condition no breaks in the spun silver filigree on the snake's head, but there's maybe a tiny bit of loss of the looping design on the side of the head leading to the tongue on one side of the head — or it originally didn't extend equidistant on either side surface scratches, dents and dings throughout the silver moderate patina throughout the design details the spirals aren't perfectly uniform, but that's to be expected of a very old handmade piece S H O P  A
