if you didn't think you were into egg jewelry, this might be the piece that changes your mind. it's a remarkably detailed, expertly crafted cloisonne enameled egg with a stone or glass as the center of the flower. it's crafted in sterling silver, but partially gold gilt, which gives it a brassy frame and bail is it true art nouveau? maybe! is it strikingly beautiful and offers plenty of figural symbolism? yes!
