well, isn't it a treat to be able to wear symbolism of the passage of time in a neck mess this is a book chain style, meaning each crescent link has a folded, hollow form that's textured on one side and flat on the other — yes, you can decide which side to showcase some of the links have a gold wash, though it isn't new and bright  solid sterling silver + some gold overlay M E A S U R E M E N T S 18.25" long links are ~7.25mm wide weighs 20.2g (hollow links) C O N D I T I O N  in good vintage condition links are hollow, but are mostly free from dents and dings. they're joined by small panel segments between the links, which have picked up a few minor bends, which means this chain doesn't lie completely flat on a level surface, but it lays perfect when worn there is wear to the gold plating and it would be difficult to re-plate links selectively — please see the photos, which show that the top of each gold plated link has wear and a brassier hue where this is a vintage item and will sho
