this locket strikes a balance between dainty and sturdy, which makes it a perfect candidate for an everyday pendant holding memories. it's a victorian era design, but dates later, likely circa 1940s. the inside has a matte, almost-bloomed finish and bright yellow hue, the outside has a higher shine, but decades of time-earned patina and surface dulling. solid 10k gold with a diamond and starburst setting.  M E A S U R E M E N T S  locket measures ~28.3 mm north to south excluding bail  bail has a ~5mm x ~3mm opening weighs 5.95g C O N D I T I O N  in excellent vintage condition minimal surface wear including light scratching, some light dents and discoloration on the back side nice snug closure and easy hinge the primary quirk is that the bail is likely a replacement as it appears to be from a later era the locket doesn't have plastic shields for photos, but the frames are intact no damage to the stone this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear
