Alexander, The Man Who Knows was the stage name of Claude Alexander Conlin (1880–1954), an American magician, mentalist, and psychic entertainer who became one of the most famous mind readers of the early 20th century. Alexander, The Man Who Knows was the highest paid mystic/magician of the golden age of the 1910s & 1920s. Alexander often adorned himself in clothing inspired by the East, seen here in his turban. Alexander was born in South Dakota in 1880 and rose to prominence during the Vaudeville era of American theater.
