A small Japanese Satsuma jar featuring over-glaze painted scenes in soothing shades of light orange, blues and gold over an ivory crackle base glaze and finished with a guardian lion finial atop the lid. The unmarked jar measures 4 1/2" wide and 8" high. The overall condition is good but there's some light debris inside that can be cleaned out as this is an older piece.
