Vintage handmade polished blackware pot with carved design, signed by Cliff Roller, Santa Clara Pueblo. Dated '97. Cliff Roller learned to make pottery from his mother, Toni Roller, and he is also a grandson of the noted potter, Margaret Tafoya (1904-2001). His pottery is traditional in form and design with crisply carved lines and a beautiful, even stone polished surface. He has won numerous awards at Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Indian Fair for his pottery.
