Tree of Life/Yggdrasil Hanging Altar

Made of weathered cast iron, this vintage piece depicts a silhouetted tree of life above a hook. The Tree of Life is a symbol that appears in many mythologies and is especially common in Celtic paganism, though it can also represent Yggdrasil, the World Tree of Norse cosmology.
