HANDS ON CANNING CLASS

Want to start your canning journey? ONLY 15 TICKETS AVAILABLE! Join us for the Hands on Canning Class at the 4-H Camp & Activities Center on Basford Rd. in Frederick, MD from 11am until about 4pm. This class will be taught by Donielle Axline, a local agriculture education teacher and past 4-H Extension Agent with a TON of knowledge in canning. She use to teach all the canning classes at the 4-H Extension Office in Frederick and has taught me everything I know about canning.  This class will give you HANDS ON experience with canning. You will go over the important things about canning and even can two different items - water bath canning and pressure canning. You will go home with two canned items, a canning book and so much knowledge to start or continue your canning journey. You DO NOT need to have any prior canning experience to take this course.
