Aerolux began manufacturing novelty light bulbs in the 1930s. Inside the bulbs were delicate sculptures of flowers, birds, dogs and religious figures that were coated with phosphor. The bulbs were filled with neon and argon that reacts and creates a glow with the phosphor when electricity is introduced.  Aerolux continued making their bulbs until they were bought by Duro-test in the 1970s. This bulb features a detailed metal sculpture of Jesus on a crucifix. When it's plugged in, the crucifix glows a fiery orange with an outer purple glow. The lightbulb can be used in a normal 60w light fixture. This listing is for the light bulb only. The lamp base is not included.
