A gorgeous set of late Victorian vanity jars featuring intricately hand painted flowers, gold accents and hand-lettered labels.  These jars are in two different sizes with the bicarbonate soda being the largest jar.  Each come with their original stoppers with a flower decoration at the top.      Additional Details Date: 1890-1910 Materials: Glass Measurements: Toilet Water Jar and Ammonia Jar 2 1/2" x 5" x 2 1/2". Bicarb. Soda Jar 3" x 4 1/2" x 4". Markings: None Condition: Fair-Good. These bottles are sturdy and intact. There is one minor chip in the stopper of the bicarb. soda jar that is hardly noticeable. There is some loss to the paint and gold accents most notably on the Toilet Water jar. These jars have been thoroughly cleaned but whatever has been stored in them has permanently left residue on their interiors most visible on the Ammonia jar, giving the jar a cloudy appearance. Despite their flaws, these well loved jars absolutely stunning and perfectly show their age.
