They're literally made from 2 ingredients: Grass Fed Tallow & Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)Beef Tallow is non-comedogenic, and naturally nourishing for your skin. Pure tallow makes a nice, hard bar that's very long-lasting with a nice, gentle lather. There's nothing in these bars to trigger skin sensitivities and our pure tallow bars have no fragrance, yet have a very clean, natural scent. 🌿At The Velvet Tallow, I was personally inspired to use & make tallow-based skincare by my own journey to health through animal-based eating. I believe that using tallow is in keeping with the “Nose to Tail” philosophy of using the entire animal and honors these beautiful creatures who help nourish our bodies.
