Magical on the palate, raspberry and roses, a slightly eggy touch at the back from the late malolactic fermentation, I think. A little more structure behind and great length. A very complete wine. Drink from 2029-2040. 94-97 points By Jasper MorrisThe 2021 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru, which contains 40%-50% whole bunches, has great clarity with brambly red fruit, briary, crushed rocks and sea spray. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, focused though it needs the second winter to bid everything together and fine-tune those tannins. Nice build in the mouth and insistent grip.
