By Jasper Morris2022 Côte de Beaune - Part 1, 10/1/2023, (See more on Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy...) 92-94 points (Puligny-Montrachet Les Champs Canet 1er Cru, Domaine Jacques Carillon, White) A full fresh pale lemon yellow. The bouquet is deliciously elegant, with the charming floral qualities that we rather missed in the vintages 2018-2020. The acidity melds in correctly with an impressive weight of fruit on the palate. Golden notes, with a welcome youthful bitterness. Medium plus length, quite accessible but with structure nonetheless.
