2023 Old Westminster "Pepper" Red, Carroll County, Maryland

2023 Pepper is a blend of 65% Cabernet Franc, 25% Blaufränkisch, 10% Chambourcin, aged in neutral oak barrels for 18 months. It's rich and ripe with soft tannins and those spicy pyrazine notes you would expect from a wine called "Pepper.” This wine, imagined by our sommelier, is an inspiring everyday wine that is both food and wallet friendly!
