2023 Steinmetz Mosel Wintricher Geierslay Trocken Riesling, Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, Germany

A stone fruit aromatic ripeness, then in the mouth is then quite cool and fresh, with excellent harmonized length.  Very flinty with a ton of grilled grapefruit this is a dangerously energetic dry Mosel Riesling. The concentration and brilliance are both almost off the scale. The minerality is only just beginning to reveal itself. Limited production. Drinkable now, but best after 2024, long ageability.
