Marziano Abbona 'Valle Dell'Olmo' Favorita

2023 Langhe Italy Closely related to Vermentino, the Italian varietal Favorita is named such because it is a favorite of winemakers. The grape thrives in the hills of Dogliani in the Langhe region where the Abbona family cultivates the fruit for this wine. It ferments in stainless steel and does benefit from some time on the lees to add to the complexity. The wine is “aromatic and captivating,” according to the winemakers.
