2018 Benedicte et Stephane Tissot Macvin du Jura Rouge

Stephane Tissot's crazy good late-harvested Vin Doux Naturel is made from 30-year-old Pinot Noir, farmed organically and biodynamically, as are all his vines, handpicked as ripe as possible. The fermentation is stopped by adding marc (it also made from Stephane's estate grapes). The wine is then matured for a year and bottled. It has gorgeous exotic flavors of red and black fruits, nuts, and spices. It will stand up to sweet desserts, or it can be dessert by itself! This wine was produced from the 2018 harvest.
