2019 Thierry et Pascale Matrot Meursault Rouge

This red Meursault is humming on all fronts. The aromatics are of red and black fruit, tied neatly to an earthy presence, all of which wraps around a core of cherry pit. The palate is bright, expressive, and invigorating, the fruit balanced within the elegant structure, and the finish is vivacious, yet with all components in balance. Medium-term aging will allow it to develop further complexity, so we’re recommending tasting this from 2026-2035.
