This wine is made from 100% Barbera, planted in 2015 on sandy clay soils. Pair it with a veal ragú. It is fermented and aged in stainless steel tank for 18 months, and aged in bottle 3 months before release. As a wine designated Superiore, the selected grapes are larger and more powerful, and it cannot be released until 12 months after harvest. Despite the power potential, this Barbera is extremely charming, with mouthwatering red fruit, balanced acidity and youthful aromatics.
