El Porvenir Amauta 'Absoluto' Cabernet Sauvignon Salta, 2022

This wine is made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. We would pair this with grilled sausage and peppers. This sustainably farmed, single vineyard estate wine is composed of 100% hand harvested grapes from the Calchaqui Valley, Salta. Salta has a very high elevation, giving grapes the benefit of diurnal shift for acidity development. This fruit driven wine shows notes of black cherry, cassis, and plum with a hint of black licorice on the nose. Good structure and soft integrated tannins with black olive and cedar on the finish.
