  The official 2023 Shetland Wool Week knitting pattern, the Buggiflooer Beanie, has been exclusively designed by the Shetland Wool Week patron for 2023, Alison Rendall. Alison is a Shetland born Fair Isle knitter who learned Fair Isle knitting as a young child. Now a Shetland-based nurse and prolific knitter and designer, Alison is influenced by the designs and colors of her Nan's knitting and she see inspiration in the nature around her.   "Buggiflooer" is the Shetland name for Sea Campion which grows in abundance near her home by the sea.  This Yarn Set Includes: 7* balls of Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift 2-ply Jumper Weight Yarn in the Jamieson's of Shetland colorway.
