Block Printing on Fabric Workshop

Explore the fundamentals of block printing on fabric in this course, covering the basics of designing, carving, and block printing on fabric. Each student will have the opportunity to practice on paper and fabric swatches and, if they choose, move to printing a design on a linen/cotton bandana included in the registration fee.  Printing on small, simple projects will provide everyone with the skills to move towards other garments or sewing projects. Students are welcome to bring questions about printing on personal pieces and may bring along garments or other fabrics for discussions about how to best approach printing.
