Mbombo’s Second Creation Earrings
These striking Mbombo beans look more like small jade gem stones than beans. Named after the creator god of the Kuba people of Central Africa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, these little beans contain the creation of the universe! After creating light and dark, Mbombo created the moon and the stars. These beautiful earrings begin at the top with a yellow moon colored round bead, below it a faceted blue star hued bead, and finally a jade colored Mbombo bean.
