The Honey Tree

Paying tribute to the first big batches of soap made at home when I was growing up, the Honey Tree brings the camphoraceous glory of Tea Tree into the Organic Dynamic family.  Tea Tree Essential Oil is one of the most widely studied, ancient, and appreciated medicinal oils. For generations, in the time before colonizing travelers even happened upon the shores of Australia, the Aboriginal People native to the continent were masters of herbal medicine. Using the leaves of the tea tree, members of the community would fashion antibacterial poultices over wounds and cuts, using the essential oils within to stave off infections and speed healing. Long before European scientific standards reached across the oceans, experimentation with microbe and bacteria-fighting compounds was already happening. Now, in the modern age of commercial cultivation, we find ourselves once again blessed to put those same compounds to use worldwide. When used topically, tea tree oil can help to combat the bacteria
