48th Fighter Wing - 2022

Print:  24x18" Heritage Series Subject:  48th Fighter Wing - 2022 Paper:  46lb, matte white Near the closing of 2021, the 48FW began receiving its first F-35s for the newly re-established 495th Fighter Squadron, the Valkyries.  At the same time, the Wing began preparing for the departure of Europe's last F-15Cs, and the inactivation of the 493rd Fighter Squadron, the Grim Reapers. To mark this changing of the guard, the 493rd painted F-15C 86-0172 in a special farewell scheme, and F-35 19-5484 received markings and theming as the Wing's new flagship.  This print captures this heritage, and features fighters from all four of the Wing's squadrons.  At 24x18", this print is a must have wall hanging for any fans of F-15s, USAFE, or Lakenheath's Liberty Wing.  Available now from Third Offset Designs!
