Maison Stéphan, "Côte Rôtie, 'Les Binardes'" 2022

From Côte Rôtie, this is a parcellaire bottling of Syrah/Viognier (90/10) from 30-38 year-old vines planted by massale selection on high elevation terraced granite slopes in the Northern Rhône (Côte Blonde), below the lieu dit of Tupin. Hand-harvested, the grapes are gently pressed and aged for 12 months in vats. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additioanl SO2.
