Martin & Anna Arndorfer, "Vereinter Schatz" 2023

80% Grüner, 20% Riesling from 3 different vineyard sites biodynamically cultivated in the Kamptal. Fruit is hand-harvested and pressed together to co-ferment in large-format neutral oak. Élevage also in neutral oak for 6 months prior to bottling unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2 (10ppm). 12% ABV  “Vereinter Schatz” is a play on words the Arndorfers to skirt new wine laws which disallow them from calling this wine a Gemischter Satz. In German, it sounds like “Gemischter Satz”, but it roughly translates as “United Sweeties”. Always produced like a field blend in the cellar (cofermented).
