Red Oakleaf Lettuce

An intensely colored variant of the popular oakleaf lettuce, Red Oakleaf produces mounded heads of lettuce with deeply cut red leaves.  Easy-to-grow plants grow vigorously throughout spring and recover quickly after harvesting, making them a great option for cut-and-come-again plantings.  A favorite for baby lettuce mixes and mesclun, red oakleaf adds a touch of color and texture to your salad bowl.  Matures approximately 40 days after sowing.  Each packet contains a minimum of 250 seeds.
