1910s / 1920s Black Straw Cloche with Checker Trim - 1920s Flapper Cloche - 1910s Cloche Hat - 1910s Womens Hat - 1920s Womens Hat Professional construction with no design or manufacture labels present. This gorgeous hat dates to the 19teens and is styled as a straw cloche hat. The foundation of the hat is done in fine black straw with an interior mesh lining. The fit of the hat is trimmed with black grosgrain ribbon, the front edge of the hat is trimmed in a horizontal stripe black & ivory straw trim with a black and ivory white checkerboard ribbon layered just above. The front of the hat also features a criss cross of black grosgrain ribbon embellished with two small gold tone metal baubles with clear rhinestone centers. The hat structure features some tucks and folds, with an intended fit as shown at the top crown of the head. Condition is listed as good minus with some cosmetic notations.
