This antique Edwardian blouse was made around 1907, and it's truly a masterpiece — it is SO rare to find pieces like these in such great condition. This blouse is made of superfine ivory linen, with whitework embroidery throughout, depicting bows and leaf sprays — an absolute classic Edwardian motif. There is lace embroidery at the collar, and the sleeves and bodice are joined together by openwork lace. The sleeves' hem is a gorgeous, delicate lace. This blouse has a cropped fit, hitting at the waist, and the sleeves are about half-length. It closes in the back, with 7 buttons down the back, and a hook and eye closure at the waist. Some of the lower buttons could also be worn open for a looser fit.
