Making Waves Kantha Throw

Each throw is handmade, requiring attention from 4 different types of artisans, including wood carvers, block printers, Kantha quiltmakers, and dye specialists.The design is hand-pressed onto pure linen using hand-carved wooden blocks dipped in dyes. The printed linen is brought to the homes of Kantha quiltmakers, who hand-stitch the linen or cotton sheet onto a cotton base to create the final throw.
