Magenta Mist (100)

I am intrigued by using cold wax and oil paint mixed and layered to create luminous paintings. "Magenta Mist" offers a captivating escape into a scene where reality and abstraction overlap. This 12" x 12"  painting features warm pink and coral tones.  To move you through the painting, I added some deep olive greens and scrapped away the wax to reveal the red canvas beneath, creating the flowers.
