Seachem Malawi/Victoria Buffer is a blend of carbonate salts designed to enhance the natural environment of cichlids by increasing hardness and buffer capacity, and reaching and maintaining a healthy pH range of 7.8-8.4. Raises and maintains a pH range of 7.8 - 8.4 Freshwater aquarium additive increases water hardness (alkalinity) pH conditioner/buffer for Malawi and Victoria cichlids For optimum replication of the Malawi/Victoria environment, use with Cichlid Lake Salt and Cichlid Trace. Directions Use 5 g (1 level teaspoon) for each 10 to 20 gallons of water each day until desired pH is attained and maintained. Thereafter, use as required to maintain pH, usually no more than once every two to three weeks. Tips It is best to dissolve the buffer in freshwater before use.
